Terms of Service

Easy POS is a point-of-sale and retail management service operated by Retail IT (Pvt) Ltd (“we”, “us”). By signing up for a trial or paid plan, you (“Customer”) agree to these terms.

The first 30 days are free. We won't ask for a card at signup. After 30 days, you choose to upgrade to a paid plan or your account is paused. Data is retained for 90 days after the trial ends, in case you decide to continue.

Paid plans are billed monthly in Sri Lankan Rupees. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes (VAT/SSCL). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.

Enterprise customers receive a separate written agreement that supersedes this section where the two conflict.

Sales, products, customers, and reports you record in Easy POS are yours. We process them as your service provider; we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train any model or service offered to other parties. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping a copy if it is critical to your operations.

You agree not to:

• Use Easy POS for any unlawful purpose or in breach of Sri Lankan law.
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.

We may suspend an account that materially violates this section, with as much notice as practical.

When we supply hardware (Android terminals, printers, scanners, cash drawers), the hardware warranty is provided by the manufacturer through us. Service after the warranty period is available under an Annual Maintenance Contract — talk to us for terms.

We aim to keep Easy POS available at all times but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The mobile POS is designed to keep selling offline and to sync once connectivity returns. We are not responsible for sales disruptions caused by the customer's own internet, power, or hardware.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Easy POS is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including lost profits, lost sales, or lost data beyond what backups can restore).

You can stop using Easy POS at any time. We may terminate the service for material breach with reasonable notice. On termination, you have 90 days to export your data before it is deleted.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction.
